Rolling Dough Pizza, Angels Camp’s newest food outlet, held its Grand Opening this Spring at its restaurant at 244 S. Main Street in Angels Towne Plaza.
The Angels Camp shop is the second operation for Rolling Dough Pizza’s owners Margarita and Wes Greer. Their San Andreas restaurant has been in operation for 10 years and was owned and managed by Margarita’s parents before she took it over three years ago.
At lunchtime, Rolling Dough Pizza offers pizza by the slice, as well as salads and drinks. At dinner time, it offers ‘take ‘n bake pizzas.
All of its food is made fresh each day from homemade recipes, and with no preserved or frozen items. An owner is always on site, and everything is kept clean and simple with good prices.
Rolling Dough Pizza offers weekly and monthly specials. Proving popular with customers is the Pizza Lotto, where customers make their own pizza with various sauces and toppings. If it looks and tastes like a ‘winner’, Rolling Dough Pizza will put that pizza on the menu for two weeks so that others can try it.
