Mark Twain Wild West Festival

The annual Mark Twain Festival (formerly known as Gold Rush Day), is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2017 in downtown Angels Camp.

The Angels Camp Commemorative Committee — a bunch of highly creative and resilient individuals — is planning a series of events over the next year that will celebrate the 152nd anniversary of  Mark Twain’s visit to Angels Camp and the writing of “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.”
